What is hourly chauffeur hire?
With hourly hire, you book time rather than a journey: your chauffeur and the vehicle stay with you for the whole duration you choose. Change your plans, add a stop, stay longer at a meeting: your chauffeur adapts. Waiting time between stops is part of the duration booked, not charged on top.

Hourly hire or separate journeys?
For a one-way trip or a return trip with no waiting, book a transfer instead: it is the most economical option. As soon as you have three or more stops in the same half-day, hourly hire is often simpler and better value: no need to order another car between meetings, your belongings stay on board, and the price is known from the outset.
The easiest way to decide: run both quotes in the calculator, using the “Transfer” tab for each journey, then the “Hourly hire” tab for the total duration, and compare the amounts.
How is the price calculated?
The price of hourly hire depends on two things: the duration booked and the vehicle. It is fixed and per vehicle, not per passenger: whether there are four of you in an E-Class or seven in a V-Class, you share it. The amount shown in the calculator is the price you pay, even if traffic is heavy.
Book a realistic duration with a little margin: dinners often run late and meetings overrun. If you wish to extend on the day, your chauffeur tells you the extra cost before carrying on, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

How does hourly hire work?
- Before: you receive a confirmation by e-mail with a summary of your booking. Note your first stops or any time constraints in the comment field.
- At the start: your chauffeur arrives at the address given a few minutes before the pick-up time.
- During: the itinerary is flexible within the duration booked. Add, remove or move stops as you wish; your chauffeur waits for you at each one.
- If your plans run longer: let your chauffeur know, and you will be told the extra cost before extending.
- After: an invoice is sent by e-mail for every booking.
